City-Wide Plan
The City-Wide Plan is action-oriented plan, primarily focused on infrastructure projects designed to hasten the recovery of the City and guide public and private investment decisions. It has at its core, the guiding principles of the Louisiana Recovery Authority: guiding and expediting the recovery and rebuilding of a Smarter, Stronger and Safer New Orleans. The prioritized recovery projects of the District Plans are components of the Citywide Plan.
The recommended projects resulting from the UNOP process may lead to changes in some City plans and policies. These may include the Citys Master Plan, Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, building codes, and capital improvements program. Implementation issues and recommendations are articulated in the Citywide Plan.
